Republic of Georgia - Post Placement

AAI requires every family provide post-placement reports at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after the placement. Each report must be accompanied by at least 5 clear photos of the child alone and with family members. These reports are generally written by the agency that wrote your homestudy with the family providing the photos directly to Adoption Advocates International. Your local agency may use its own international post placement template or the template provided by AAI.

After the initial 1-year reporting period, one family report a year is required by the Georgian adoption authority to comply with the Hague Treaty. All reports can be sent to AAI for your file. From there, a copy will be sent to Kathy Johnson who will send it on to the adoption authorities in the Republic of Georgia.
